Ingredients
Method
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine stuffing mix, sage, celery, and chicken broth. Mix until evenly moistened and set aside.
- In a separate bowl, stir the condensed cream of celery soup with ½ can water until smooth. Repeat with the cream of chicken soup in another bowl.
- Layer 1/3 of the stuffing mix in the prepared baking dish, followed by half the shredded turkey. Pour the celery soup mixture over the turkey, spreading evenly.
- Top with another 1/3 of stuffing mix, remaining turkey, and the chicken soup mixture. Finish with the last 1/3 of stuffing on top.
- Drizzle melted butter over the entire casserole and press down gently with a spatula to compact the layers.
- Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the casserole is bubbling.
Notes
Pro tip: Swap in cooked chicken if that's what you have on hand—it works just as well!
