Ingredients

  • 2 cans condensed cream of chicken soup (10.75-ounce)
  • 1 can chicken broth (15-ounce)
  • 1 ½ cups chopped cooked turkey , or more to taste
  • 1 cup chopped potatoes , or more to taste
  • 1 cup chopped carrots , or more to taste
  • ½ onion chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
  • 1 pinch poultry seasoning
  • ½ can refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough (10-ounce) (such as Pillsbury Grands!®), cut into squares

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Sharp knife
  • spatula or spoon

Method

  1. In your slow cooker, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, turkey, potatoes, carrots, onion, butter, garlic powder, and poultry seasoning. Stir everything together until evenly mixed.
  2. Set your slow cooker to High and cook for 3 hours. During this time, the flavors meld, and the veggies become tender.
  3. Give the soup another good stir, then arrange the biscuit dough pieces evenly on top of the mixture.
  4. Cover and continue cooking on High for about 1 more hour, or until the biscuits are fully cooked and fluffy. You’ll know they’re ready when they no longer look doughy.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy the ultimate comfort food straight from your slow cooker!

Notes

Pro Tip: If your slow cooker has a built-in timer, it’s even easier. Just program it, and let technology do its thing.
