Ingredients
  

  • 24 oz. medium-sized frozen shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz. salted butter, sliced
  • 2 Tbsp. olive oil
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • ½ tsp. kosher salt
  • ¼ tsp. red pepper flakes
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Linguine, angel hair, or spaghetti (cooked)

Method
 

  1. In your slow cooker, combine frozen shrimp, butter, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, paprika, kosher salt, red pepper flakes, and black pepper.
  2. Give it a quick stir to ensure everything is mixed well.
  3. Cover and set your slow cooker to HIGH. Cook for 2 hours, or until the shrimp are pink, plump, and cooked through (145°F).
  4. About 15 minutes before the shrimp is done, cook your pasta according to the package instructions.
  5. Serve the shrimp and its buttery garlic sauce over the cooked pasta. Finish with fresh parsley and grated Parmesan cheese.

Pro Tip: Grab frozen shrimp when it’s on sale and keep it stocked for recipes like this. It thaws quickly if you need it, but in this recipe, you don’t even have to defrost it!
