Ingredients
Method
- Combine chicken, chicken broth, potatoes, green chiles, onion, and cream-style corn in your slow cooker. Stir everything together, cover, and cook on low for 4 hours.
- Remove the lid and shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks. It should fall apart easily!
- Stir in the heavy cream, garlic powder, and cooked beef bacon. Add salt and pepper to your taste, then cook uncovered for another 15–20 minutes to let the flavors meld.
- Ladle into bowls, garnish with parsley, and serve hot with a sprinkle of cracked black pepper.
Notes
Use homemade broth for even richer flavor, layer your ingredients for even cooking, and store any leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze for later.
