Method
- Heat a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat and add olive oil.
- Brown the ground turkey, seasoning with salt and pepper. Stir and break it up as it cooks, about 7 minutes.
- Add garlic and onion to the pot, cooking for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the marinara sauce, chicken broth, balsamic vinegar, Italian seasoning, and parsley. Stir to combine.
- Break the spaghetti in half and layer it into the pot in small handfuls, alternating directions to prevent clumping. Push the pasta into the liquid without stirring.
- Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 13–15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to avoid sticking.
- Once the pasta is tender, turn off the heat and let it sit for 2–3 minutes to absorb the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley or grated cheese. Enjoy!
Notes
Tip: You can swap ground turkey for ground chicken or even plant-based crumbles for a vegetarian twist.
