Ingredients

  • 3 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 packet au jus gravy mix
  • 1 packet ranch dressing mix
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
  • 6 peperoncini peppers

Method

  1. Place 3 pounds of boneless, skinless chicken breasts into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle one packet of au jus gravy mix and one packet of ranch dressing mix evenly over the chicken.
  3. Top the chicken with 1/2 cup of salted butter and arrange the peperoncini peppers on top.
  4. Cover and set your slow cooker to low. Cook for 6-8 hours. No water or broth needed—the chicken will create its own juices during cooking.
  5. After cooking, shred the chicken directly in the slow cooker using two forks. Give it a good mix to combine all the flavors.
  6. Serve and enjoy! It’s perfect with mashed potatoes, rice, or even as a filling for sandwiches.

Notes

Shopping tip: Grab pre-trimmed chicken breasts if you're short on time, and you can even use frozen chicken—just cook it a bit longer.
