Ingredients
  

  • 2 16 oz boxes frozen pierogies (cheddar)
  • 1 pound smoked turkey sausage
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • 1 8 oz. block cream cheese, chopped up
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • Sliced green onions for serving

Method
 

  1. Slice the smoked turkey sausage into evenly sized pieces and place them in the crockpot.
  2. Add the frozen pierogies, cream cheese pieces, chicken broth, salt, and pepper on top.
  3. Set the slow cooker to low and let it cook for 3 hours. During this time, feel free to step away and let it work its magic!
  4. 30 minutes before serving, give the mixture a good stir and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
  5. Cover and cook until the cheese has melted into gooey perfection.
  6. Before serving, sprinkle chopped green onions for a pop of freshness. Serve warm and enjoy!
