Ingredients

  • 2 cans of peaches (15 oz each, do not drain)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method

  1. Prep the Slow Cooker: Melt the butter and pour it into the bottom of your slow cooker.
  2. Make the Batter: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, milk, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
  3. Add Batter: Pour the batter evenly over the melted butter in your slow cooker.
  4. Layer the Peaches: Spoon the peaches (along with their syrup) over the batter. Resist the urge to stir!
  5. Cook: Set your slow cooker to high and cook for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, or until the cobbler topping is fully set and golden.
  6. Serve: Dish up warm, gooey cobbler straight from the crockpot, and don’t forget to top it with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream.
