Method
- Lightly grease the inside of your Crock-Pot with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Slice the brioche into thick slices, then quarter each slice. Place the bread chunks into the slow cooker.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, salt, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Pour the custard evenly over the bread in the Crock-Pot. Gently fold the bread with a spatula to make sure every piece is coated.
- Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 2 ½ to 3 hours. The French toast is ready when it's set and slightly golden on the edges.
