Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • (1) 10.5 oz can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 box (6 oz) Stovetop chicken stuffing
  • 1 bag (12 oz) frozen green beans

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Kitchen tongs
  • Mixing bowl

Method

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot. I like to filet them so they cook faster and more evenly, but that’s optional.
  2. Season the chicken with garlic salt for extra flavor.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream of chicken soup and sour cream until smooth. Spread this mixture over the seasoned chicken.
  4. Sprinkle the Stovetop stuffing mix evenly over the chicken and soup.
  5. Add the frozen green beans right on top—no thawing needed!
  6. Cover your crockpot and cook on high for 3-4 hours or low for 6-8 hours. The chicken should shred easily when done.

Notes

Pro-tip: Keep extra stuffing mix in your pantry for impromptu dinners like this.
