Ingredients

  • 4 lbs chicken wings (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 ½ cups buffalo sauce
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker
  • Baking sheet
  • Aluminum foil

Method

  1. Place the chicken wings directly into your slow cooker. No need to grease it first—this dish comes together seamlessly.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the buffalo sauce, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  3. Pour the sauce over the wings, making sure each one is coated. Cover with the lid.
  4. Cook on low: 5-6 hours OR high: 2.5-3 hours. Walk away while they cook!
  5. Once cooked, preheat your oven’s broiler and line a baking sheet with foil.
  6. Transfer the wings to the prepared baking sheet. Broil for 5-10 minutes, flipping halfway, until they turn golden and slightly crisp.
  7. Serve immediately, or return the wings to the crockpot on the “keep warm” setting for guests to grab as they please.

Notes

Pro Tip: If you're in the market for a slow cooker, look for one with a removable ceramic pot—that makes cleaning a breeze!
