Ingredients

  • 2 cans of cream of chicken soup
  • 1 envelope of Italian dressing mix
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups water
  • 4-6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • for serving Fettuccine noodles

Method

  1. Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, softened cream cheese, and water. Whisk until smooth, then pour over the chicken.
  3. Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Before serving, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks or tongs. Stir the shredded chicken into the creamy sauce so it’s evenly coated.
  5. Boil your fettuccine noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with the Alfredo sauce, or serve the sauce over the noodles on individual plates.
