Method
- Place the chicken breasts at the bottom of your slow cooker in a single layer.
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream of chicken soup, Italian dressing mix, softened cream cheese, and water. Whisk until smooth, then pour over the chicken.
- Set your slow cooker to low and cook for 6-8 hours, or high for 3-4 hours.
- Before serving, shred the chicken directly in the crockpot using two forks or tongs. Stir the shredded chicken into the creamy sauce so it’s evenly coated.
- Boil your fettuccine noodles according to package instructions. Drain and toss with the Alfredo sauce, or serve the sauce over the noodles on individual plates.
