  • 1 tube refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 24 slices pepperoni
  • 4 string cheese cut in half
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh minced parsley for garnish
  • Pizza sauce for dipping

Method

  1. Unroll the crescent dough and separate the triangles of dough.
  2. Lay 3 slices of pepperoni on the wide end of each crescent roll triangle.
  3. Place half a string cheese on top of the pepperoni.
  4. Fold the edges of the dough over the cheese, then roll tightly to seal in the filling.
  5. Mix melted butter with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Brush all sides of the rolled dough with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Place rolls seam-side down in the preheated air fryer basket, leaving space between each. Work in batches if needed.
  7. Cook at 350°F for 6–7 minutes until golden brown and crisp. Keep an eye on them after the 6-minute mark.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
