Ingredients

  • 2 salmon fillets 5-8 oz. each
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons whole grain Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)

Equipment

  • Air fryer
  • Bowl
  • Brush

Method

  1. 1.Whisk together the honey, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, smoked paprika, lemon juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
  2. 2.Pour about two-thirds of the sauce over the salmon fillets. Let them marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge, or coat them thoroughly and proceed directly to cooking if you’re short on time.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F for 5 minutes.
  4. Place the salmon fillets on the air fryer basket, skin-side down if applicable.
  5. Brush the remaining marinade over the fillets to create a thick, flavorful glaze.
  6. Air fry for 7-8 minutes, until the internal temperature reaches 130°F. The salmon should flake easily with a fork and have a caramelized surface.
  7. Transfer the salmon to a plate, drizzle with any extra sauce, and serve hot. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

Reheat leftovers: Pop leftovers in the air fryer at 350°F for 3-4 minutes—it keeps them moist and flavorful.
